Joyce Vandevere Memorial Quilt Project

An McDowell, a peace activist and a member of the local quilt guild, is organizing a quilt project to honor the life of Joyce Vandevere.  Participants are invited to create a quilt square to pay tribute to Joyce’s life as an advocate for peace, nonviolence, and social justice. The quilt will hang on the wall of the Peace Center in Seaside.

An is available to work with anyone who is interested and would like assistance.  Contact An by email at or phone (841) 233-4853.
