Bilingual Film Festival: Biutiful, Monday, March 3, 2014, 7:00 pm

BIUTIFUL:  Directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (2010), Biutiful follows the journey of Uxbal, (Javier Bardem), a man who struggles to reconcile fatherhood, love, spirituality, crime, guilt and mortality in the backdrop of modern Barcelona’s underworld.  The film was nominated for two Academy Awards in 2011: Best Foreign Language Film and Best Actor for Javier Bardem, who also received the Best Actor Award at Cannes for his work on the film.
