Sunday, July 1, the Seaside parade will march down Fremont Blvd at noon. If you aren’t marching with them, come to the Peace Resource Center, stand out front, and cheer as they go by. Then stay for our potluck lunch that begins at 1:00.
At 1:45 we will clear the tables and launch into sign-making for the Monterey Fourth of July parade on Wednesday (you are invited to join either the PCMC or WILPF in the parade – you don’t need to be a member to march). They’ll have instructions for you here on Sunday.
We will also be making signs for a July 7 demonstration protesting the on-going gross human rights violations in Sudan. Representatives from the Sudanese-American Society Monterey will be here to talk about the event. For more information on this event, email firstname.lastname@example.org
